The prestigious IAPR Fellow Award was introduced in 1994 and is given biennially to recognize the recipients’ distinguished scientific contributions to the field of pattern recognition and services to IAPR. According to the IAPR Constitution and Bylaws, the number of fellows elected every two years must not exceed 0.25% of the total IAPR membership. The IAPR Fellow Committee solicits nominations of high quality and manages the selection process.

Call for Nominations

We welcome nominations for the award of IAPR Fellow.
Anyone who has been a member of an IAPR member society for at least 5 years and has sufficient scientific contribution as well as significant Contribution/Service/Involvement towards IAPR is eligible to be nominated. Exception: Current members of the Executive Committee and of the Fellow Committee are not eligible nominees.
