The Conferences and Meetings Committee of IAPR evaluates applications for Sponsorship or Endorsement of meetings that demonstrate a strong likelihood to have an international scope and make significant contributions to topics central to the study of pattern recognition and its applications.
Sponsorship/Endorsement Rules
The Conferences and Meetings Committee of IAPR evalutes applications for Sponsorship or Endorsement of meetings to determine if they are in compliance with IAPR standards. Sponsorship or Endorsement will be granted to applicants who demonstrate that there is a strong likelihood that the meeting will have an international scope and significant contribution to topics central to the study of pattern recognition and its applications. Sponsorship is a higher level of support, and specific distinctions between the two levels of IAPR support are shown in the table below.

The application procedure that is followed is set up to allow an efficient and fast decision by IAPR. Please provide the necessary information well in advance of the event (and before any publicity is distributed) to enable quick reactions of the IAPR Conferences & Meetings Committee.
Apply for Sponsorship/Endorsement
The information contained in the application for IAPR sponsorship/endorsement of a meeting is used by the Conferences & Meetings Committee (C&M) only to evaluate the meeting and to form the basis of the agreement between the IAPR and the organizers. It is held by the C&M as historical record. The IAPR does not sell, distribute, or pass any personal data to any organization.
