Tour to Knossos, Wednesday, 3 September 2014, 17.30
A flashback to Crete’s ancient history. Knossos is the site of the most important and better known palace of Minoan Civilization. According to tradition, it was the seat of the legendary king Minos. The Palace is also connected with thrilling legends, such as the myth of the Labyrinth with the Minotaur, and the story of Daidalos and Icaros.  Walking round the narrow corridors of the labyrinth construction you’ll have the opportunity to see artifacts and symbols of the culture developed in Crete 4000 years ago.  The myths come alive again after visiting the Palace of King Minos at Knossos.

Services included transportation to the archaeological site of Knossos, entrance fees and English speaking guide. You are advised to wear comfortable shoes, take your camera with you and enjoy the tour!
