VISA Information

Information about entering Japan is available at this webpage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.

If your country or region is listed here, you do not need VISA to enter Japan (for the purposes of tourism, commerce, conferences, visiting relatives/acquaintances, etc.). Otherwise, you need to obtain VISA.

Invitation Letter for Obtaining VISA

If you need VISA, we will issue an invitation letter for you, which is required to apply for obtaining VISA but does not guarantee to do it. To obtain the invitation letter, please follow the following procedure:

  1. Complete your registration and payment.
  2. Fill this application form.
  3. Send the filled form to icdar2017-visa *** m.cs.osakafu-u.ac.jp (please replace *** with atmark).
