Conference Venue

The venue of the conference will be the University of Halmstad (Sweden). The main conference premise of ICB-2016 will be the “Visionen” building of the University (also called J building). It is adjacent to the University Library and to the Trade Center, a 22 floors building which is easily visible from many parts of the city.

How to arrive to the Venue

Click on the images below to open different maps of the conference venue and the city. The best way to go is by walk (aprox. 1.9 km from the city center).

From the city center, bus line 20 (direction Fyllinge) or bus line 30 (direction Eurostop) can be used. The bus terminal station in the city center is called "Österskans" and the university station is "Högskolan". Bus tickets cost 25 SEK (~3€) per way. Please note that only credit card can be used on board the bus. To avoid delays (specially if you travel in group), we recommend buying the ticket in advance at Österskans station using the ticket machines or in the travel office.
