Payment instructions and cancellation conditions

Swedish participants

Swedish participants can choose to pay either by credit card or by invoice. 25% VAT will be added to the registration fee before payment. Exception for governmental public authorities (statliga myndigheter).
At the choice of invoice, the invoice will be sent primarily as an e-invoice. Make sure to have organization number (organisationsnummer) and invoice reference at hand at time of registration.
The invoice option for payment is only available by 26 April, 2021 at the latest. From 27 April, it will only be possible to pay by credit card.

Participants from outside Sweden

Can also choose to pay either by credit card or by invoice. According to Swedish and EU legislation there is no VAT on fees for participation in a digital conference broadcasted from another country.
The invoice option for payment is only available by 26 April, 2021 at the latest. From 27 April, it will only be possible to pay by credit card.

Invoice and payments will be made out in SEK (Swedish krona)
When choosing ‘International bank transfer’ in the registration form, you will receive an invoice including bank transfer information (bank account number, IBAN, etc). The invoice is created manually, and will be sent as a pdf attachment by e-mail, usually a few days after registration.
The participant/payee is responsible for any bank charges/fees associated with the payment.

Information about payment with credit card

We accept the following credit cards: VISA and Mastercard.

For your safety, our payment system is connected to the 3D Secure system for ensuring the security of payments made through the internet. Your card needs to be connected to Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode. Your bank can inform you if your card is connected, and if not already, how it can be connected.

If you receive an error message when paying with your card, please check with your bank to see if they have a block on overseas payments, a block on internet payments, and/or a limit on the amount that can be charged in one day. These are common reasons why a payment initially does not go through.

According to Swedish and EU tax law, there is no VAT on a digital events broadcasted from another country than the one you are attending from.

For participants inside the boarders, in this case Sweden, regular VAT laws apply. In this case, 25% VAT will be added for all participants. Exception, invoice payment for participants from governmental public authorities (statliga myndigheter). A majority of Swedish universities is a “statlig myndighet”.

A list of participants will be available as a pdf for registered participants. Name, organization (affiliation) and country will be presented in the list. No contact details will be shared, only used by the organizers to send you instructions and information. Phone number will only be used by the conference administration for contact if your e-mail address should fail.
