The IWBF 2019 Committee invites you to submit papers of up to 6 pages. Submitted papers must be original and have not been submitted to any other conferences or journals. Accepted papers should be presented by one of the authors as a condition for publication. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

• Multimedia forensics including identification of source devices and source-oriented image clustering
• Integrity verification and authentication of digital content
• Watermarking schemes for ownership identification, ownership proof, and copy control
• Steganography and steganalysis
• Forensic behavioral biometrics
• People identification based on face, iris, fingerprint, and soft biometric traits
• Biometric analysis of crime scene traces and their forensic interpretation
• Combination of multimodal biometrics with other forensic evidence
• Biometric-based cybercrime investigation
• Resilience of biometric systems to attacks based on spoofed and morphed biometric data
• Video surveillance including abnormal event detection
• Biometric and non-biometric data de-identification
• Ethical and societal implications of emerging forensics biometrics
• Case studies of the aforementioned topics

Papers accepted to IWBF 2019 will be included in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.

Review process

Paper submissions will be reviewed by at least three members of the Technical Program Committee. This process will be conducted entirely online, with the results of the review process to be posted on the CMT Website. Authors will also be notified of the review outcome by email.

Accepted papers

Papers accepted to IWBF2019 will be allocated up to 6 pages in the proceedings. A complete paper should be submitted in camera-ready format. Instructions for submission of camera-ready versions of accepted papers will be provided in due course.

Lecture presentations

Each paper is allocated 20 minutes for oral sessions. We recommend that the presentation of your slides take about 17-18 minutes, leaving 2-3 minutes for introduction, summary, and questions from the audience. Slides should attract and hold attention, and reinforce what you say. We, therefore, suggest that you keep them simple and easy to read. Presenters must be sufficiently familiar with the material being presented to answer detailed questions from the audience. In addition, the presenter must contact the Session Chair in advance of the presenter's session.

Poster presentations

Poster size: B1 (707 x 1000 mm) in portrait orientation

Poster Preparation:

It is important that your poster cover the key points of your work and display the main message clearly and noticeably to attract people who might have an interest in your paper.

Please use an appropriate font size for the posters to be readable by the workshop participants from 1.5m away. The title of your poster should appear at the top in CAPITAL letters about 25mm (1 inch) high. Below the title, please list all authors and their affiliations. Use color for highlighting and to make your poster attractive. Use pictures, diagrams, figures, etc., rather than only text wherever possible. The smallest text on your poster should be at least 9mm (3/8 inch) high.

Prepare a short presentation (several minutes) that you can periodically give to those assembled around your poster. Be ready to give it several times as people move through the area.

There will be members of the workshop to ensure that facilities are working properly, and to give you any assistance you may need during the poster session. There will be no audio-visual equipment for poster presentations.

Authors are required to stand by their posters during the whole poster session.
