ICFHR 2020 encourages submission of papers that describe original work related to topics described in the Call for Papers. All ICFHR 2020 papers should be submitted via the EasyChair Conference System. Please follow the instructions on the submission website carefully, to ensure that your paper has been submitted correctly. The submission website is:
https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icfhr2020
Note: Both submissions of NEW PAPERS and UPDATES of already submitted ones are welcome until the submission deadline.
Deadlines: See the Important Dates sidebar.
If you encounter any problem during the paper submission process and cannot resolve it, please contact the Program Chairs.
Paper Format and Double-Blind Review. Please prepare your paper in IEEE format using the LaTeX or MS-Word templates available here:
www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html
Papers should be a maximum of six pages in length. ICFHR 2020 submissions will be reviewed using a double-blind review process. Author names and affiliations must not be identified in the initial paper submissions (please list the authors as ‘Anonymous’). Reviewer names will also not be visible to authors. However, the reviews will be available to the authors during a rebuttal phase. During a rebuttal phase, authors are only allowed to give very short comments (up to 500 characters) and only in the case that the reviewers may have overlooked something. Possible extensions of the paper (especially additional experiments and analysis) are not part of the rebuttal.
IAPR Ethical Requirements for Authors. The IAPR requires that all authors wishing to present a paper declare that:
- The paper is substantially original and that no paper substantially similar in content has been submitted or will be submitted to any other conference or journal during the review period.
- The paper does not contain any plagiarism.
- The paper will be presented by the author or a co-author in person.
- The IAPR retains the right to eliminate any papers in violation of these requirements and to exclude the authors of such papers from future IAPR community activities.
The full statement of IAPR ethical requirements for authors may be found at this link: http://www.iapr.org/constitution/soe.php
ICFHR-2020 reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore) if its authors or a proxy do not present the paper at the Conference.
Camera-Ready Submission
Please submit your camera-ready manuscript directly to IEEE Conference Publishing Services (CPS) via the following link.
Submission deadline: July 12, 2020
Instructions on how to prepare your camera-ready manuscript along with document templates can be found on the CPS submission site. In addition to submitting your finalized manuscript by the submission deadline, you will also need to complete a copyright transfer form and submit it together with your manuscript.
PLEASE NOTE: For accepted papers to be included in the published conference proceedings, ICFHR 2020 requires that at least one author completes a full registration (IAPR member or non-member status) by the submission deadline. Authors with multiple accepted papers will only need to complete one full registration to cover all papers for which they are co-authors. Papers that are not accompanied by a full registration will be removed from the proceedings.
Should you encounter technical problems with the CPS submission system, please contact the proceedings production editor Juan Guerrero directly: jeguerrero@computer.org
