Update 2014-08-18: We cannot guarantee late registrations the possibility to attend the Welcome Reception and the Conference Banquet.

We recommend that you carefully read the registration terms before filling in the registration form and that you have a credit card ready for the hotel reservation and/or payment for the conference. This electronic transaction is secure, and your credit card information is encrypted during the registration process.

Please, note that the deadline date is at 24:00 hours local Swedish time (CET, CEST).

The registration fee for delegates includes: Access to the scientific program, conference documentation, coffee breaks according to the program, the welcome reception on August 25 and the conference dinner on August 27. Lunches are not included.

The registration fee for accompanying persons includes: The welcome reception on August 25 and the conference dinner on August 27. Please note that the accompanying person fee does not include access to the scientific program, neither coffee breaks nor lunches.

IAPR Travel Stipends

The IAPR Executive Committee has decided to announce travel stipends of US$1000 each to be granted to 50 authors with accepted papers. We received as many as 247 stipend applications. The ranking process has now been completed and the authors granted have been informed by e-mail. The application should be clear in that this author will be the presenter of the paper. Our strategy this year was to give high priority to PhD students. We also favoured authors of multiple papers. Other criteria we used was whether the author comes from a country with financial difficulty to travel to Sweden and if the author needs to pay from personal savings. We regret that only a small part of the applications could be granted.

Payment

Payment must be made in advance of the conference.

Swedish delegates
Swedish delegates can choose to pay either by credit card or by invoice. If you choose to pay by invoice an administrative fee of SEK 100 will be added. You will receive your invoice by regular mail. If you like your invoice to be sent as a pdf attachment by e-mail, please unmark the tick box on the payment page of the registration form. VAT will be added according to Swedish legislation and routines.

Delegates from outside Sweden
• According to Swedish and legislation and routines, VAT will be added also for delegates from outside Sweden. The Swedish sales tax of 25% applies to the conference fees. This is refundable to all companies and organizations such as universities but not to private individuals. For organizations within the EU the refund is automatic through the tax clearing mechanisms within EU. For organizations outside EU, please find more information here.
• All payments must be made in SEK (Swedish krona)
• Payment should be made by credit card or by bank transfer
• Upon choice of payment method "Bank transfer" on the registration form, you will receive an invoice together with your confirmation letter, including bank transfer information such as bank account, IBAN, etc. Confirmation letter and invoice will be sent as pdf attachments by e-mail.
• Please note that we accept the following credit cards: VISA, Master Card and American Express (Our University does not accept VISA Electron or Maestro). The Internet credit card service provider sometimes has trouble with Safari. For Mac OS, we recommend the web browser Firefox.
• We will not accept any bank charge deductions
• Unfortunately, we cannot accept payment by bank cheques or euro cheques

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation of Registration

Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and sent to Akademikonferens, the conference secretariat. Cancellation of registration will be accepted until May 21, up to which date the total amount will be refunded minus SEK 750 for cancellation fee. We regret that no refunds or reductions of fees will be accepted for cancellations made after May 21, nor for no-shows for any reasons.

Cancellation/changes of Hotel Reservation

Notification of cancellation/changes must be made in writing and sent to Akademikonferens, the conference secretariat. Cancellation/changes of any hotel reservation will be accepted until 6 weeks prior to arrival. If cancellation/changes is received later than this date, or in case of no-show, the hotel has the right to charge your credit card for the whole stay reserved.

Change of Name

If you should be unable to attend, you will be given the opportunity to send a colleague in your place. Please contact the conference secretariat as soon as possible. An administration fee of SEK 250 will then be charged.
